Recently when my best friend’s veteran husband passed away totally unexpectedly, I wanted something, but I had no answer as to what. At the celebration of his life, my friend was passed “the folded flag.” That’s when I knew. His daughter, two granddaughters, as well as my friend, would have a token of the years, he had spent in service to our country. Since the pins are once again available, I want to buy some now because they are a symbol of service which means so much to a veteran.
